BAC Mentoring Network

Many athletes who contact the BAC for advice have problems which can be dealt with relatively quickly, either because the answer is known and can be given immediately, or because we can refer them to someone who will be able to help them resolve their problem.

However, in a number of cases there is no quick solution, or it may be apparent that the issue needs a more in depth investigation to ensure that the athlete is given the best advice. To provide the best service possible in this situation the BAC has set up a mentoring network to ensure that all cases are dealt with as effectively as possible.

Experienced individuals have been appointed who have demonstrated an understanding of the pressures athletes find themselves under. They are there to advise the athlete on their case and to represent/support the athlete where necessary, they will keep appropriate records of progress and report back to BAC.

If you are interested in becoming an athlete mentor you can view the role description.
