Structure of the BAC
The BAC is governed by the athletes’ council which meets once a year at the BAC Conference. This council consists of up to two elected representatives from each sport represented on the BAC.

There are also places on the executive for non voting members from the BAC partner organisations, UK Sport, the BOA, and the BPA
The day to day work of the BAC is carried out by the full time professional staff lead by the Chief Executive Pete Gardner, with the Executive team providing direction and monitoring of the work in each area. The represented issues are:

Committees can be set up to work on specific issues should the need arise, and athletes can be co-opted onto these committees by the executive.
Where the BAC needs to be represented in an official capacity and the Executive member for that represented issue cannot attend, it will fall to the Chief Executive to attend and speak on behalf of the athletes.
